Delete your SaltSignal account
How to delete your cloud account from the SaltSignal app.
The app is SaltSignal. The developer is Stephen Hill trading as SaltSignal, ABN 75 235 187 242.
The Free Tier has no account, so there is nothing to delete in the cloud. Your log, photos and GPS stay on your phone. This page is for people who signed in to a SaltSignal account, for example to use Premium Tier sync.
Delete your account in the app
- Open SaltSignal on your phone.
- Tap More, then Account & Settings, then Account & sync.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
- Sign in again when the app asks, using your email and password, Apple or Google.
- The app then signs you out and your cloud account is gone.
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel that in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in.
- The cloud copy of your synced log.
- Your personal best photos stored in the cloud for that account.
What stays on your phone
- The copy of your log, photos and GPS on your phone stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app is separate from deleting your account.
- Photos you saved to your phone's Photos app stay there.
If you no longer have the app
Email [email protected] from the email address you used for your account and ask us to delete your cloud account. We'll do the same deletion as the app does.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy. For other questions, see Support.
